Photographer: Qing (CHI' -ing) He

I’m a long-time amateur photographer who just recently decided to take this hobby to the next level and try to do photography as a side-gig.

My journey in photography started off with my first DSLR, a Canon 5D Mk II, in 2010 as a way to cope with the stress of business school and recruiting. I shot my classmates, school events, and travel. Before I knew it, I was shooting graduation photos and even my own engagement!

The fascinating element of photography is that it lies at the junction between artistry, technology, and skill. Furthermore, photography has an unique benefit of being readily shared and appreciated across a wide audience — not many other forms of expression are as quickly shared and appreciated. Finally, of course, photography is an essential way of preserving and sharing the most important moments of our lives.
